BIO Caro Everts is a Business Economist and Leadership & Life Skills Educator with over 25 years of international experience in both the corporate and non-profit sectors. Originally from the Netherlands, she holds advanced degrees from Hanze University of Groningen, as well as from VU University Amsterdam, where she also followed the Post Graduate Program EMFC.

Her professional journey includes nearly two decades at SHV Holdings, an international corporation with revenues exceeding $20 billion and a workforce of 55,000, where she held several senior executive positions across various industries. This extensive experience in global environments has equipped her with a deep understanding of diverse cultural dynamics and leadership styles.

Caro has lived, worked, and traveled in over 50 countries, providing her with an awareness and appreciation of diverse cultural dynamics and leadership complexities. Her broad international exposure increases her ability to address unique challenges faced by leaders from diverse backgrounds.

Since 2014 Caro has specialized in Leadership & Life Skills Development with a focus on Cross-Cultural Teams and Women's Leadership. This highlights her comprehensive knowledge of the complexities involved in leadership development for leaders with diverse backgrounds and ethnicities.

Academic Credentials
Caro holds advanced degrees in Commerce and Business Economics and her academic rigor is complemented by her current academic roles, as an Adjunct Professor International Economics at HighPoint University and as a Member of the Advisory Board for Economics and Business Economics at the VU University in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Founder of Business Ventures
In 2014, Caro founded TheCaroCompany® in Australia, focusing on cross-cultural and women's leadership programs. She later established EducateMe.US™ in the U.S., an e-learning platform for Leadership and Life Skills, showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to innovative leadership development.

Mentorships and Coaching
Caro mentors emerging leaders through the USSAVI program, an entrepreneurial incubator, sponsored by the American Embassy in Pretoria, South Africa. She coaches mid-level leaders through the Women's Forum for the Economy & Society in Paris, France.
